Director/Senior Director, Marketing Effectiveness Team
THE POSITION
This role will be responsible for leadership & management of media effectivness team in East China region and will be responsible for achieving the revenue targets and driving new business, development opportunities, managing strategic client relationships.Managing SH team and develop team.
This role is based in Shanghai, China.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business Management
Lead team to proactively identifying business opportunities based on client strategic priorities, managing and servicing clients to achieve maximum client satisfaction.
Develop the team’s business strategy covering current and future business models, ensure local business strategies are implemented according to regional / sub-regional directions, and drive local innovative solution development through partnership with other data owners.
Responsible for the planned sales target, P&L target and cost budget; Monitor the actual financial performance against budget/forecast and ensure the implementation of appropriate actions.
Maintain relationship with existing client and develop connection with new clients.
Organize external thought leadership, seminars, top-to-top meetings and events.
Project Management
Oversee the management and conduct of projects including preparation, approval and delivery of proposals, reports and presentations.
Lead team to proactively identifying business opportunities based on client strategic priorities, managing and servicing clients to achieve maximum client satisfaction.
People Management
Establish a strong team environment focused on exceeding internal and external client requirements. Provide support, recognition and feedback to assist associates towards achieving the performance expectations and standards and act as coach, guide and mentor to employees.
Manage and maintain the team structure.
Develop team in terms of both quantity and quality.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
More than 10 years experiences in FMCG / Media /Retail /Ecommerce /Market Research or consulting industry.
Strategic Thinking and Creativity Skills: See the Big Picture, have high level of curiosity and willingness to experiment, willing to challenge the status quo to bring a better solution to customer.
Strong understanding of the Data & Analytics market (technologies, tools, trends, players, use cases, China scenario & opportunity).
Strong analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to turn detailed data analysis into useful strategic insight in order to drive customer adoption and make appropriate recommendations to the business.
A keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must.
Strong experience and skills on people management and development.
