As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for Organizing internal communication activities such as quarterly employee townhall meeting, book club, etc., in Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, you will be creating advertisement and marketing collaterals, such as outdoor ads, web banners (static and dynamic ads), WeChat ads, advertorial, trade-media ads, etc.

Your responsibilities

  • Creating monthly newsletters and internal stories to deliver ABB Robotics key messages to employees all around China
  • Organizing internal communication activities such as quarterly employee townhall meeting, book club, etc.
  • Managing intranet, including uploading news and announcements to intranet
  • Localizing product communications materials, such as translation of new product launch press releases, datasheets, brochures, magazines, roll-up banners, leaflets, videos, etc.
  • Creating advertisement and marketing collaterals, such as outdoor ads, web banners (static and dynamic ads), WeChat ads, advertorial, trade-media ads, etc.
  • Designing internal posters, such as application posters, history milestones, product walls, BU introduction walls, and excellent employees’ walls, etc.
  • Maintaining brand VI, making sure all marketing materials meet requirements of VI rules, checking and approving any other publicity materials from other teams
  • Training employees across functions on VI rules and other administrative tasks including placing PO, etc.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree or above, majored in Communications, English or Journalism
  • Excellent ability to work and write in English and Chinese
  • Great communication and coordination skills
  • Creative mindset and strong ownership
  • Detail-oriented and great teamworking spirit
