Summary : The China Marketing Communication Specialist assists in planning, development and implementation of all marketing programs in China and manages all internal and external communication initiatives and coordinates development and production of communication materials.

Reporting to : This position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists in planning, development and implementation of all marketing programs including medical trade shows, symposia, media and patient outreach activities, campaigns, translation (corporate website and press releases) in China

• Manages internal and external communications initiatives and coordinates development and production of communications materials, presentations, advertisements, promotion literature, pre- and post-scientific meetings press releases, announcements and newsletters through various communication channels

• Ensures corporate brand guidelines are followed and maintains current marketing collaterals, upkeep inventory level and supplies

• Manages and implements marketing projects in China

• Monitor and track market news as it relates to Accuray and the competition. Includes tracking all Accuray coverage including both corporate and product coverage. Also responsible for monitoring competitive press releases, product news and media coverage.

• Any other ad hoc assignment/projects

  Qualifications:

• University graduate in marketing, communications, journalism, translation or related

• 3~5 years experience in marketing event and public relations experience with media network, preferably in medical device / pharmaceutical industry

• Multi-tasking ability to meet tight deadlines

• Ability to work independently and able to work cross various functions with regional office experience as an advantage

• Should be a flexible team player with strong interpersonal communication; responsible and detail-oriented

• Possess sound communication and administrative skills

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, creative and technical writing skill will be an advantage

• Well versed in MS Office application (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint)

• Occasional travel is required
