1-year Contractor

Job Purpose:

The Marketing Communication Assistant Manager/Manager, China ( contractor ) is responsible for the leadership and ownership of the management of PR and event in China .

This role will interpret marketing communication strategies into action plans to maximize the effectiveness of activities, facilitate business growth as well as strengthen the brand positioning in the market. You want to join an entrepreneurial team to have the opportunity to manage/support various marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Marketing Director in communication strategy development and annual plan.

• Partner with agencies to manage PR activities and events.

• Develop and maintain effective relationship with key influential target media and influencers.

• Compose event idea to excite customers with better engagement and interaction.
  

• Well understand the product calendar and tie in with in-store initiatives to generate traffic and sales contribution.

• Monitor and manage communication budget and delivery best outcome.

• Live, endorse and promote and Canada Goose values
  

Experience, Education and Designations:

• Bachelor degree or above
  

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in marketing communication roles in a global apparel, fashion, outdoor, or luxury company
  

• Solid experience of leading and operating level one PR events in China.

• Strong relationship with Lifestyle, Fashion, Travel and Online media, as well as the KOLs in the markets.

• Ideally industry experience in luxury, apparel/fashion, or outdoor sports
  

• Experience in project/process management
  

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Native-level Mandarin language skills
  

• Fluent English
  

• A genuine passion for Canada Goose and an understanding of consumer’s perception
  

• Excellent communication skills
