IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply all IKEA channels with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduces 2,000 new products in the 400 IKEA stores and other multichannel touchpoints around the world with the turnover of 23,1 BEUR. The total range is almost 10,000 products. The Market Specific Hub in Delhi, India is a vital enabler and challenger in order for IKEA to become even more relevant for our customers where ever they are in the world.

Job Description

As Market Specific Hub Manager your assignment is to be overall responsible for operations at the Market Specific Hub in Delhi, India. The assignment of a Market Specific hub is to complement the IKEA product range offer through adaptations on supplier products/models and their production capabilities, or minor adjustments on IKEA products. Building on and adapting known constructions, materials, products or solutions. Known either from IKEA or supplier perspective. Being close to a supplier market will enable the hub to act with speed. 

The market specific hubs will work on behalf of HFB Range & Product teams, mainly through “market specific requests” with products to be destined for any country - specific or global or other express type of project where speed is of an essence. 

About the assignment
You are responsible to secure that the Market Specific Hub meets all business objectives, leading daily business operations and, together with our categories, Market Specific Leaders in our Business Areas and retail partners, secure the development of products truly based on consumer needs. Furthermore you are responsible for securing continuous competence development of your co-workers and securing succession within the Market Specific Hub but also further in the IKEA community. 

Furthermore you will be responsible for:

  • Financial and business performance, goals fulfilment and operations of the Market Specific Hub.
  • Translating inputs and opportunities assigned from the HFBs, based on retail needs into products that supports and creates growth for IKEA
  • Secure a close collaboration with New Business in India and other partners in India.
  • Leading and organisation consisting of 10 leaders and co-workers with many different nationalities and cultures

Qualifications

About you
You have a great passion for people and business and have a clear understanding of IKEA on a strategic, tactical and operational level. You see opportunities where others might see hinders and by always putting the customers first you are able to influence business decisions and make things happen without sense of what is best for total IKEA. 

You are an experienced leader who have led both leaders and co-workers as well as organisations before. You are known for your inspirational and engaging ways of working and communicating. Building strong and trustful relationships across our value chain comes natural to you.
