Job Description / Capsule
MA Director is responsible for high level pricing strategy, optimizing access within key accounts to ensure the environment enables market access success. The role has responsibility for Key Account, Market Access and Tender team and accountability for building strong strategic alliances that help shape a public policy environment that is conducive to the reimbursement of all AstraZeneca Vietnam products in both the Public and Private Payer sectors and to the improvement of our overall business environment. As a key member of the Country Leadership Team (CLT), reporting to Company President, will share accountability for the leadership, strategic direction, business development and compliance of the market.
Typical Accountabilities
- Build and implement a market access, pricing strategy and tender policy in a marketing company that has contributed to achieving overall business goals
- Shape a public policy environment that recognizes and rewards innovations, AstraZeneca business offerings and enhances our ability to do business in the province or region
- Design broad value propositions that have positively influenced and shaped the external operating environment; regional, national
- Deliver innovative value strategies (IVS): shape the payer environment to create and deliver highly valued market access solutions that unlock the potential of our life changing medicines for patients
- Develop and drive short- & long-term strategies to improve patient’s access to AZ medicines
- Drive Health economic methods, Health Technology Assessment, evidence-based medicine and their application
- Develop and implement access strategy, considering all possible channels (public, private, OOP)
- Drive partnership and collaboration with cross functional leaders, (such as medical, commercial, GA), to enable achievement of access strategy
- Lead the development of strategic partnership with government offices (DAV, DHI, DPF, VSS,…) and Government-nominated institutes (NDQC, HUP, HMU, …) to develop sustainable healthcare environment
- Drives implementation of holistic key accounts strategy
- Assists in prioritization of account projects/initiatives that address changing customer and market requirements
- Build and develop high performing teams
- Develop and manage projects, related consultants and associated budgets.
- Respect and adhere to AstraZeneca’s Code of Conduct and other corporate policies, ensure the operation is in a full compliance with the legal and regulatory (internal & external) framework
- Represent AstraZeneca on specific industry association (i.e. Pharma Group, Eurocham) committees of AZ core policy positions.
