A Manufacturing test engineer at White Rock Networks is responsible for guaranteeing specific product platforms are tested from an ICT, Functional, System, and extended temperature perspective. The goal is to achieve 100% coverage and confidence that the production product shipped will work as intended under product requirement guidelines. The Manufacturing test Engineer position requires the engineer to be familiar with telecommunications protocols such as SONET, Ethernet, DS3, and DS1 as well as basic IP and LAN network topologies.

NI Labview and TestStand will be utilized by the manufacturing test engineer to automate tests at functional, system, and extended temperature test areas. Interaction with Operations for testing handoff and debug is required as well as interaction with the contract manufacturer for ICT installation and support. The Manufacturing test engineer should be familiar with all aspects of testing process including, but not limited to and writing automated scripts/drivers, design for test methodology, design for manufacturing, nodal/net coverage analysis, reading schematics, reading system requirements documents, and boundary scan technology.
