• Manages and controls departmental/project budgets & KPIs
• Creation of manufacturing strategy in alignment to group strategy
• Ensure product quality through Advanced Quality Planning Process for NPI and detail quality data analysis for continuous improvement projects
• Take responsibility in designing the manufacturing process to meet cost and built targets without impacting the customer experience
• Work with sourcing to ensure that the product is at required tolerance, quality and cost
• Take responsibility that all DFMEA and PFMEA and conducted, risk identified and mitigated
• Ensure all required training and WI are of high standards and easily understood by the factory operators.
• Identify capital equipment request with full financial justification
• All SOP or WI should take into full consideration of Health and Safety and where feasible, how to utilise the different tools of HAZOP, DSEAR, LOPA, Risk Assessment to identify the risk for mitigation.
• Effective use of data to assist and justify the gaps and improvement areas for piece and batch flow.
• Continuously seeking improvement in Quality through use of different tools and techniques
• To work closely with various function to improve the customer experience through an end to end value chain

• Bachelor in Engineering or Chemical Engineering degree and above
• Desirable be at least green belt trained in 6 Sigma
• ISO9001 certified EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE
• At least 10 years’ experience in a engineering quality, NPI, or process engineering or improvement role in which at least 4 years management experience is a must
• Have at least lead some product transfer project or deliver new product into manufacturing
• Have completed and lead continuous improvement program
• Have the knowledge and skills to utilise tools/methodology in Lean, Six Sigma, analytical tools, DFM and related area to improve and deliver quality products
• Familiar with PPAP and process capability techniques
• Having strong experience in leading change throughout the organisation
• Strong Background in process design principles
• Good Knowledge of Chemical Engineering and operating plants
• Have good knowledge in designing and creating strategy and objective in driving for Best in class in a manufacturing environment
• Good experience implementing change into the organisation
