Eaton’s Vehicle Group Product Portfolio includes manual and automated truck transmissions and clutches, hybrid powertrain systems, drivetrain, suspension, wheel-end and safety systems, anti-lock braking as well as air, transmission, and fuel management controls, automotive fluid connectors, engine air management systems, engine valves and lifters and limited-slip and locking differentials.
Under the direct supervision of the Director Finance Vehicle Group EMEA, this position is responsible to Manage all finance manufacturing functions in the region. Responsible for reporting, planning and forecast and ad-hoc analysis on profit improvement for the region. Key support given to Operations and SCM activities and go-to person for all regional site controllers.
Your main duties:
- Ensure proactive control of the regional financials (P&L and BS)
- Ensure the reporting activities are performed timely and accurately, with recovery actions planned and kept on track
- coordinating at all business levels planning and reporting activities including monthly actuals, monthly rolling forecast, profit planning, strategic planning and operating reviews.
- Improving the forecast accuracy at regional and plants level
- Be the primary regional Business Partner for the Operations Director and the SCM Director to identify cost-out opportunities, follow-up critical projects, support an effective decision-making process and manage/prioritize the capital spending
- Support restructuring projects, ensuring a proactive long-term approach on financials
- Coordinate all the regional internal control activities (including Internal and SOX Audits)
- Improve and support capital expenditure process (CAPEX)
- Coordinate Plant Controllers activities across 4 production sites, being able to prioritize tasks and projects
- Support process standardization and identify best practice across the region and with the Group
- Establish effective communication with Group and Corporate functions, to secure timely and effective reporting
- Manage proactively the team, work on people’s development and support the Finance Director on any relevant organizational discussions
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years in Finance Controlling.
- Experience in large multi-national manufacturing organizations with complex matrix structures.
- Strong Operational Finance Experience onsite (>5 years)
- English Fluent
- Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skill set, effective at all levels of the organization and able to influence and challenge the decision process
- Effective communication skills, able to adapt approach when needed
- Process & continuous improvement oriented
