Responsibilities of Managing Director Assistant

  • Act as liaison to maintain Managing Director’s internal and external relationships with company business leaders, client executives, government officials, business partners and suppliers

  • Support Managing Director for development of the Greater China business region by process optimization, business analysis and effective cooperation with the management team in Taiwan, Mongolia, Hong Kong and China.

  • Maintain and develop systems, procedures and records in line with the organization’s policies and objectives

  • Manage the managing director’s calendar, prioritize business activities and proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts

  • Support Managing Director in the preparation and presentation of business travels, related reports, proposals, budgets and other activities

  • Handle/draft Managing Director speech, circular letter and correspondence in formal communication style

  • Undertake mailings and communication as directed by the Managing Director

  • Collect, analyze and summarize relevant information of different business areas and generate reports to facilitate decision making for the Managing Director

  • Assist with contract review and overlook company contract achieves on behalf of the Managing Director

  • Perform administrative support functions for Managing Director, including but not limited to contact management, document filing, minutes of meeting and follow-ups;

  • Organize the driver of the managing director

  • Organization and preparation of key events in cooperation with local team, preparing meeting agendas, group meeting coordination etc.

  • Protect confidentiality and handle proprietary information using utmost discretion

  • Other tasks/projects assigned by Managing Director, e.g. research


Requirements of Managing Director Assistant

  • Relevant working experiences of 10+ years

  • Excellent English and Chinese skills, German language skills a plus

  • Good time management

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Strong Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

  • Can do attitude
