Responsibilities:
  • Carry out continuous market analysis with a demonstrated ability to evaluate business opportunities with regards to market trends, customer needs and expectations and competitor developments.
  • Proven track record with respect to entrepreneurship and ability to successfully implement new strategies including annual goals and budgets
  • Develop and support the implementation of customer relationship strategies, business plans, tools including successful customer identification systems.
  • Contribute to and help co-ordinate marketing and sales activities according to business plan and budget
  • Develop and maintain a close co-operation with the global F&B Manager to leverage identified business trends, market developments and opportunities, generate cross-selling and initiatives to manage customer expectations and competition in the marketplace.
  • Develop tactical activities to ensure DNV's visibility with internal and existing customers.
  • Demonstrate high commitment and drive, and act according to DNV PVV.
  • Interact with the Country Manager to ensure that the local organisation and manning levels meet the needs to achieve set business development and service delivery targets including F&B team employee satisfaction.
  • Ensure that performance goals, operational results and budget targets of the country unit are met.
  • Ensure competence development, training and qualification of staff according to set plans and market requirements.
  • Build a strong and co-operative team spirit, within the F&B team as well as within the country unit organisation.
  • Coach team members to achieve objectives and deliver on targets
  • Carry ultimate responsibility for meeting budget goals and performance goals
  • Ensure that the reporting system of the country is implemented according to DNVs set procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant working experience in the F&B industry with a minimum of five years management experience, preferably from an international setting.
  • Have a good command and understanding of FSMS/ISO22000 and preferably also other major international food safety schemes.
  • Bachelor degree or above.
  • Demonstrated excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability motivate and support team members
  • Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English
  • Open-minded, creative and with a strong entrepreneurial drive
  • Ability to collaborate and develop effective working relationships across organisational and cultural boundaries.
  • Superior networking capability, preferably with existing industry contacts
  • Ability interact with and present to senior executive levels
  • Command a proactive approach to complex problem solving.
  • Hard worker with high energy levels
  • Adaptable and willing to travel frequently.
