Our Diversity and Wellbeing team focuses on initiatives and strategies designed to attract, develop, and promote diversity. You’ll work in collaboration with PwC’s human capital community to develop programmes and initiatives that foster an open and inclusive environment.

Job Description & Responsibilities

At PwC, our Human Resources (HR) professionals drive the firm’s people strategy, create a unique people experience, and work with the business to drive success in the marketplace. The HR function supports our people in reaching their full market value which then sets PwC apart as the distinctive Firm as the ‘employer of choice’.

As an in-house HR professional focussed on driving the ‘wellness and diversity’ agenda, , you will be working with the Team Lead to develop and implement manage various wellness and diversity in a proactive and holistic way to increase our people’s emotional strength with professional support. The scope of the role covers mainly Mainland China. The major responsibilities include:

  • Assess needs from business and people strategies/priorities to identify areas of focus related to employee wellness and diversity and its importance to drive performance;
  • Design and develop programmes, events and activities that help our people build resilience and promote wellbeing and diversity of our people, whether physically, mentally, psychologically, or socially;
  • Lead the implementation of the solutions in collaboration with other HR and non-HR (e.g. business executives, internal support departments) functions;
  • Manage the change process through working with different stakeholders from different background including creating awareness, understanding their needs, securing their buy-in and advocacy;
  • Communicate the design and execution plan with a wide group of stakeholders (e.g. business executives, other HR and support functions, partners and staff) through on-going engagement and communication.

Reporting structure & key relationships

Reports to the National HR Wellbeing and Diversity Team Lead (Associate Director based in Hong Kong)

Key relationships: Business leadership and executives, National Human Resources Leadership, Line of Service HR (HRBP), HR Networks of Expertise, other internal functions in China/Hong Kong and across the PwC global network

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above;
  • At least 7 years of work experience;
  • Previous experience working in a professional services or multi-national corporate environment is preferred;
  • Substantial knowledge and previous experience related to wellness;
  • Proven track record in leading, implementing and managing wellness programmes, events and activities;
  • Ability to work independently to lead and manage projects;
  • Ability to manage various priorities and demonstrate agility and flexibility;
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience with stakeholder management at all levels from a diverse background/culture;
  • Collaboration skills to lead/manage and work in cross-functional project teams;
  • Passionate in improving and creating a better work environment for our people;
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English essential, Mandarin Chinese highly preferred;
  • Strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills to enable communications and analysis.
