This exciting role offers opportunity to: New Product development: New supplier identification and assessment and select right mix of vendors Drive Product localization projects with Indigenous suppliers RFQ to suppliers and commercial finalization to meet localization goal. Negotiation with supplier for EATON standard terms and conditions Follow-up with suppliers for Samples and pilot lot and ensure on time material receipt and project execution. PPAP & Contract signoff with suppliers and handover to purchase team with necessary agreements. Strategic Sourcing Spend analysis and drive commodity strategy. Monitoring of various commodity trend and forecasting of raw material cost and arrive economics of material to fix product cost. Working with global category team for strategic alignment Coordination with global and domestic vendors for cost productivity projects and new product development. Drive cost productivity projects and achieve YOY cost reduction targets Identify the tail end suppliers and drive supplier consolidation projects Sourcing of Indirect Materials and Services. Supplier identification based on Scope of Work and conduct RFQ process. Negotiate and select supplier selection for projects based on Total Cost of Ownership model. Qualifications Requirement: BE/BTech / ME (Mechanical / Electrical / ECE) 12+ years’ Experience on total and Minimum 8+ Years’ Experience in Sourcing and New product development Should have strong knowledge in contract management and supplier risk assessment process. Strong Knowledge in manufacturing process for Mechanical commodities like Stamping, Forging, Machining and Fabrication. Knowledge in Electromechanical and Electronics including PCBA will be an added advantage Problem solving skills and Managing complex cross-functional materials management issues. Should be capable of debottlenecking the supplier issues and support for supply continuity Must be capable to negotiate with suppliers for price increase requests and mitigate the impact wit alternate solutions. Experience in managing Logistics contract for PAN India distribution and drive logistic cost out projects SAP ERP Experience will be added advantage. Proficient skills level in MS Office: Excel and Power Point presentations. Good communicator of both written and verbal information Strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders High degree of professional presence and customer interface skills Very adept at influencing to achieve results through others when required Team player Ability to get things done through teams effectively Ability to forge strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
