Using advanced technology, we’re able to focus on establishing the right controls, processes and structures for our clients to ensure that decisions are based on accurate information and assure that information provided to third parties is accurate, complete, and can be trusted.As a member of the Media Audit Team, you will be working with the Media Audit leadership and other team members across mainland China to help our top-tier clients integrate and analyse their advertising data, measure and optimize their media performance, understand and exploit the audience path, change the way the clients monitor their agencies and their media vendors. This role requires you to work closely with senior-level clients and advise them on how their enterprise can adapt to compete in the new media era and become more effectiveness focused.

Objective / key responsibilities
We are looking for a Media Audit specialist who will play a key leadership role in developing and implementing innovative strategies to offer our clients insight into measurement and optimization of media performance according to market needs. This role requires you to act as a trusted client advisor to solve complex data problems, while driving new business opportunities and maintaining long-term relationships with clients. In this role, you will:
- Work on projects to scope, define, research, analyse, develop and implement recommendations to solve clients’ business problems;
- Conduct primary and secondary research and analysis on specific business topics;
- Develop practical methodologies, analytical approaches and measurement models to evaluate actual performance of traditional media and digital media;
- Integrate mass data and analyse the audience path, to help clients achieve their desired levels of advertisement reach and build content that resonates with their target audience;
- Assist clients in formulating informed strategies based on credible data-sources and logic-backed analysis, to better monitoring their agencies and their media vendors;
- Help clients prioritise key issues, define problem statements and develop decision making frameworks and governance processes that continue to deliver value beyond the lifespan of the engagement;
- Ensure consistent high quality of project deliverables and presentation, as well as lead discussions with senior-level client leadership;
- Engage and manage mid-level clients who are directly involved in the project, as well as broader client stakeholders;
- Actively participate in developing new business opportunities;
- Manage the delivery of projects, ensuring that project can hit its KPIs in new customer acquisitions, sales orders and customer service;
- Manage project financials to ensure delivery is executed on time and on budget;
- Manage 3rd party marketing service providers (e.g. agencies) for execution and operation;
- Receives moderate of level instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instructions on new assignment;
- Lead and manage teams including talents from different disciplines (i.e. Business Analysts, Technical Specialists, etc.) and mentor junior consultants;
- Contribute to knowledge development, building and sharing;
- Drive value creation, thought leadership and innovation in project team;
- Decisions impact own work and may impact the work of others;
- Individual contributor as a part of a team, with a focused scope of work; and
- Be open to travel and working at client sites.
Requirements
- 5+ years working experience in a media agency or media consulting firm with experience over the project’s full lifecycle;
- Working experience in either Consulting, Agency or In-house Marketing Department Media Function;
- Experience in media audit projects including media performance evaluation, media data analysis, marketing effectiveness measurement is preferred;
- Extensive knowledge of media and marketing trends relevant to clients’ business;
- Strong problem solving, logical thinking and analytical skills;
- Proven ability to identify business opportunities and build long-term professional relationships;
- Mastery of Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Project, etc.);
- Key qualifications;
- Bilingual in English and Chinese;
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing & Media or equivalent degrees;
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Advanced data processing and analytics skills;
- Good financial acumen and financial analysis and diagnosis skills;
- Client-facing consultancy skills;
- Proven track record of leadership, coaching and mentoring of junior staff;
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and independently;
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise, manage expectations and meet deadlines while working on multiple requests;
- Ability to work creatively and proactively in a problem-solving environment; and
- Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable.
