Job Description

Division: Product Management

Location: Beijing

Overall management for upper luxury segment future products from Strategic/Initial phase to Target Agreement. Take lead in preparing market proposal including current & future product requirements, options, price, volume, offer structure and Business case. Take lead in discussions with AG counterparts and NSC relevant departments and submit proper feedbacks to counterparts to ensure full implementation of China product and pricing strategy. Ensure timely input for all product milestones and key decision circles.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Co-operation with product managers of current generation to make proper volume and price positioning planning proposal for next generation.
  • Planning China specific product offer structure on engine and trim levels of responsible future models in upper luxury segments.
  • Definition of future market specific product requirements for new product developments and initializing market specific product adaptations.
  • Monitoring upper luxury segment development in China and competitors' movement to adapt product plan accordingly.
  • Strategic market analysis and research as part of market development projects for long term product planning.
  • Being aware of all key milestones and decision circles in product planning process, and delivery of required proposals/input in a timely manner.
  • Planning and constant close contact with AG counterparts and NSC relevant departments to develop and ensure implementation of local product proposals.
  • Other tasks assigned by line manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Automotive Engineering or Business Administration, MBA preferred
  • 5-10 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing and/or Product Planning
  • Good knowledge of market analysis and good sense of auto market
  • Good product knowledge and high affinity for product related issues ?
  • International orientation with ability to work in a cultural diverse environment
  • High flexibility to work on multi task assignments & fast learning
  • Long term commitment of career
  • Strategic planning capability & critical thinking
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Very good PC knowledge and presentation skill
