Job Responsibilities

• Report to the VP of Sourcing in the Hong Kong office.
• Facilitate Sourcing team in the Hong Kong office by providing engineering, technical and quality support.
• Work with the US team and suppliers, in product development, packaging configuration and production, in order to meet quality requirements with delivery timeframe, cost and quality on goods.
• Work with testing laboratories and suppliers on product testing.
• Work with Quality team in the US on compliance, audit, testing and inspection. Conduct failure/non-conformance analysis.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to internal teams and suppliers during the process to ensure manufacturing issues are resolved.
• Frequent calls with the US team.
• Frequent travel to China and overseas companies.
• Assist in ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by supervisor or team leader.

Qualifications

• University or Polytechnic graduate preferably in Engineering or Quality related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in wood toys, infant toys, injection plastic.
• Familiar with international toy safety requirements.
• Familiar with material commodities sourcing.
• Strong communication skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.  
• Detail oriented, able to handle engineering and quality tasks seamlessly.
• Strong analytical skills, self-motivated and initiative, able to work independently.
• Knowledge in 3D engineering software such as STEP is a plus.
