Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of strategic and operation plans
  • Research and analyze performance data from sales channels for strategic planning, including scenario analysis
  • Assist with annual budgeting, working with all EB team heads
  • Co-ordinate and prepare various performance/management information and dashboard reports
  • Assist with the monthly & quarterly forecasting processes for EB business
  • Review channel loading assumptions for expense overrun/underrun calculations and provide update to actuarial team as needed
  • Gather information for client expense ratio analysis
  • Assist with monthly expense and profitability analysis
  • Complete ad hoc analysis as needed to drive the business decision-making process

Job Requirements

  • University degree with over 8 years work experience and strong track record of driving customer growth strategies in financial services, management consulting or related industry, at least 5 years of which in a strategic role in Employee Benefit and Business Development.
  • Strong background in Insurance product and/or distribution channels would be preferred.
  • Highly effective in influencing and motivating stakeholders across a variety of disciplines to drive the right commercial outcomes
  • Demonstrated impeccable judgement based on data analysis and insights to identify trends, tell compelling stories and drive decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and to translate ambiguous concepts into action plans.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills on both Chinese and English
