The Incubation and Acceleration Programmes (“Programmes”) of Hong Kong Science & Technologies Parks Corporation (“HKSTP”), are initiatives to further support the development of selected tenant companies through a combination of business and corporate development, offered by HKSTP and industry experts in various fields. Our Programmes give these exceptional individuals and businesses a chance to truly shine.

Incubation programmes help technology startups turn their innovative ideas into marketable products and solutions while our Acceleration programme, also known as Leading Enterprises Acceleration Programme (“LEAP”), is an ultra-tailored programme to turn elite startups into regional or global tech giants and prepares them for eventual IPO or M&A.

Job Responsibilities:-

• Support team management by:
• Providing financial, capital budgeting and structuring analysis on startups.
• Working with startups in operations, financial management, fund raising, business strategies, etc.
• Conducting periodic review on the performance of startups.
• Assisting in:
• Admission process including deal sourcing, programme promotion due diligence and arranging admission panel meeting, etc.
• Exit management, such as private sale, M&A and IPO….
• Operation and financial management of the Programmes.
• Connect with local and overseas (including Mainland China) industry communities, investment communities and business partners to:
• Initiate and drive various partnership or programmes for startup acceleration.
• Provide support in startups’ business growth and fund raising.
• Deliver and/or source training to start-ups management in relation to one or more key corporate functions.
• Assisting the promotion and execution of various initiatives under the Programmes.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager as appropriate.

Requirements:-

• University graduate or above in Finance / Accounting.
• Minimum 6-8 years of relevant working experience in early stage investment / corporate finance / management consulting.
• Experiences as finance related managerial positions in technology startup operations or venture capital / investment fund highly preferred.
• Professional qualification such as CPA or CFA is a plus.
• Passion for entrepreneurship; good understanding in startup eco-system.
• Self-motivated, organized, a good team player and manager able to multi-task and work under pressure and tight schedule.
• Logical thinking, attention to details, great interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (in particular Mandarin) required.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower position.
