The Corporate Information Technology Division is responsible for setting the strategic direction and spearheading new IT initiatives for the Group, as well as providing IT support to the company’s headquarters in Hong Kong. We are currently seeking a Manager, IT Infrastructure to join the team.
Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, you are responsible for managing and leading a team of IT infrastructure support specialists to deliver a world class IT operation, to ensure mission-critical applications are secure and available 24x7 for our business with global coverage.
As a Manager, IT Infrastructure , we rely on you to:
- Manage the overall data center operations and long term direction for network infrastructure and application/database server support functions
- Improve service quality and ensure capacity is proactively managed and in line with growth of the company
- Ensure incidents are managed appropriately and handled in expected timeframes
- Manage change control process to ensure authorization, prioritization and evaluation have taken place
- Manage IT operational documentation and policies
- Conduct periodic evaluations of products in the market to recommend the most suitable solutions for the business
- Manage successful patch management program to maintain a stable and secure environment
- Ensure Service Level Agreements for the enabling technologies are adequate, updated and relevant
- Manage disaster recovery planning (Data backup and restoration, DR plan update and conduct annual DR drill)
- Assist the Director in managing budget
We are looking for someone who:
- 10 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure operations in:
- Problem, Incident, Change, Configuration, Capacity and Performance and Availability management processes
- Devising Standard operational procedures as per industry best practices
- Service level delivery and management
- Security patching, updates, and upgrade management
- Definition of standards, key performance indicators, and critical success factors required to deliver operational excellence
- Disaster recovery planning, documenting, and testing
- 8 - 10 years of hands on experience in designing and managing IT Infrastructure, networking, firewall, messaging, server virtualization, storage and security solutions
- Sound knowledge of SDN, SDWAN, Hybrid Cloud, Software Defined Storage, CDN etc.
- Hands on experience in design and manage On-Premise Datacenters and Multi Cloud environment (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS etc.)
- Proven track record of Microsoft Office 365 rollout, migration and administration
- University degree in the field of Information Technology / Computer Science
- Fluency in written and oral English, and spoken Cantonese/Mandarin fluency is required
- Attention to details, efficient in follow-throughs and with the ability to communicate with all levels and outside parties in a non-technical language
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks according to documented process
- Ability to work in a team environment to engage and motivate team members
- Experienced in preparing written reports and making presentations
