You’ll help our local offices in driving the Firm’s people strategy, creating a unique people experience for each individual, and supporting our Firm wide values by working with the core competencies that measure and drive individual and Firm wide success in the marketplace.Our Internal Global Mobility team provides support for PwC’s international assignment programmes. As part of our team, you’ll help with all human resource related aspects of international assignments including tax, immigration, mobility consulting, and expatriate compensation and benefits.
- Liaise with relevant industry, region, services, country, LOS leaders over strategic need and succession planning
- Ensure that the country International Mobility Plan (IMP) is completed and updated in a timely way, and reflects the plans of the business
- Check that all administrative support services are meeting high standards – in particular, it is vital that the Global Mobility Manager (GMM) database is kept up-to-date on a regular basis
- Link with LOS partners and HR leaders in identifying and screening candidates
- Present international opportunities through various channels
- Ensure correct deployed package is being applied, in line with policy
- Identify assignment owners, coaches/mentors and buddy with LoS HR or operations team
- Give guidance of a Business Case
- Help owners and assignees to draw up plan for assignment
- Facilitate cost sharing agreements and implementation of billing schedules
- Make regular contact with assignee, in particular acting as reference point for any issues/concerns/questions
- Ensure evaluations and remuneration reviews are regularly carried out
- Coordinate of any proposals to extend assignment
- Work with owners and assignee on repatriation plan (or reassignment plan)
- Keep database entries up-to-date for their assignees
- Liaise with host GMCs as necessary
Experience:
- Solid generalist HR experience preferably with regional exposure or expatriation administration experience
- Working in multinational organization with diverse culture
Skills:
- Sound knowledge of Global Mobility policies and local employment / immigration / tax / social security regulations
- Good understanding of international compensation and benefits practice in major territories, such as US, UK, Canada, Australia and European countries
- Thorough knowledge of firm’s services and the professional practice at local and global context
- Strong drive, process orientation, and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills to define problems, establish alternatives, and determine the optimal course of action to be taken
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with senior management and expatriate
- Proven project management and change management experience
- Building team spirit and develop strong client relationship
- Flexible in working and able to tolerate uncertainty
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Mandarin is preferred.
