What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will provide financial planning and analysis support to the Global Marketing - Oncology organization, serving as the key finance partner to support the pipeline planning processes, internal valuations and business development projects for the Oncology portfolio.
Planning and analysis of headcount and operating expenses, supporting the financial forecast, annual budgeting, long-range plan, and quarterly close processes
Providing direction to clients on key corporate financial policies such as Sarbanes-Oxley and departmental policies to ensure accurate GAAP treatment of functional expenses
Collaborating with business partners for the forecasting and modeling of worldwide sales and marketing operating expenses for internal and external valuations
Leading financial support of Oncology pipeline revenue long range planning process
Driving operational efficiency and process improvements
Partnering proactively with regions, functions, and key stakeholders
Providing financial support and insightful analysis on an ad hoc basis to support senior leadership with decision-making

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate Degree
OR
Master's degree and 2 years of Finance experience
OR
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Finance experience
OR
Associate’s degree and 10 years finance/accounting experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of finance/accounting experience
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of corporate-level and dynamic finance/accounting experience
Relevant functional financial planning experience
Knowledge of key finance systems (such as SAP, MS Office, Hyperion planning and reporting systems)
Excellent Excel / PowerPoint skills
Proven ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and team environment
Ability to manage and take ownership of multiple projects concurrently under time
Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to influence personnel across functions and levels
Ability to think strategically
MBA and/or CPA is a plus
Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience
