Mission and Purpose
- This position leads in the planning of key events of PR department, eg. Beijing/Shanghai Auto Show, Guangzhou Auto Show, CES Asia, CIIE, etc
- This position ensures alignment with joint venture partners regarding events mentioned above.
- This position supports the execution in other events, eg. CSR events, internal events and some media relation events.
- This position supports in managing regional media relations, eg. media outlets in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu.
- This position helps manage some media delegations to events organized by the headquarters.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Task: Event-related
- Based on the annual communication/event plan drafted by the headquarters and PR team, facilitate the execution of major auto show and trade fair events, including pre-events.
- Support other major corporate events, like CSR and internal events.
- Draft annual event calendar for team
- Coordinate with other stakeholders for joint events
2. Task: Media-related
- Collect intelligence on important regional media, identify influential regional media figures, and build up regional media database
- Draft plans to maintain regional media relations
- Identify right media group for the right topics
- Supports in organizing media relation events
3. Task: issue-related
- Support in issue management in case the issue concerns regional media
Qualifications
Education Background
- Bachelor degree
Professional Skills
- Fluent English/Chinese, German a plus;
- Media knowledge
- communications background;
- understanding of car industry;
- highly disciplined, very accurate;
- experience in cross-culture environment a plus;
- open minded in a very fast changing environment;
- cultural-political knowlegde of the local market
- Working experience : 3 years
