Job Description

Manage the P&C architecture and governance framework to ensure solution designs meets the Hong Kong Health business strategy roadmap. Work closely with Regional Architecture team to incorporate Regional and Group Architecture roadmap into the Architecture Roadmap. Ensure Governance framework is optimized and effective to ensure quality of deliverables.

1. Strategic Planning

- Support formulation of the HK IT strategic plan and APM landscape management to ensure that details encompassing relevant areas of responsibility are incorporated into the plans.

2. P&C Enterprise Architecture

- Work closely with Regional Solution Architecture Team on the development of enterprise architecture to ensure the definition of conceptual and logical architecture specifications (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture) are accurately captured.

- Develop and design the specific solution architecture framework and standards to ensure consistent terminology and documentation.

- Design and actively contribute to the solution architecture to ensure all the solution architecture is aligned with the enterprise architecture strategic roadmap.

3. Solutions Architecture

- Define and present the solution options for each new project and prepare recommendations with ballpark estimates to business users ensuring the options are aligned with business needs and strategy.

- Identify and assess various solution options from both a technical and functional perspectives to ensure provision of recommendations that are aligned with the business needs and strategy.

- Perform overall solution design by converting requirements into solution architecture to ensure that all requirements are captured and support the solution blueprint.

- Identify technology and delivery risks associated with proposed solutions to ensure that necessary measures are taken to mitigate these risks.

- Work closely with the project team and key stakeholders to develop the overall solution architecture to ensure all requirements from key stakeholders are captured in the overall solution architecture.

Requirements:

- University degree in Computer Engineering / Science or Management related fields.

- Minimum 10 years relevant experience with 5+ years in solution architecture role.

- Over 5 years finance industry experience is preferred.

- Advanced knowledge on new technology.

- Experience in project solution development and delivery.

- Experienced in vendor management.

- Understanding of finance and resource estimation

- Strong interpersonal skills and proven organisational negotiation and influencing skills.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills along with being organized, structured, and assertive

- Fluent in Cantonese and English.
