Job Description & Summary

A career in our Deals Data and Analytics practice, within Deals Transaction Services, will provide you with the opportunity to creatively design and develop a data analytics platform. As an IT expert, you will work very closely with our financial professionals, data scientists and digital solution team to embed the diversified PwC know-how into this platform, covering financial advisory, merger and acquisition, industry experience, big data analysis, machine learning, artificial intelligence and data visualization, etc.

Responsibility:

• Lead a team to support professional staff solving business problems and big data analysis via programming. Deliver product on time, within planned budget and at required quality level;
• Responsible for leading the team in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of data analytics software;
• Work with digital solution team and GTS on establishing and maintaining database and cloud-server;
• Facilitate the team for better creativity and try to improve the efficiency of the D&A software development projects;
• Responsible for managing the scrum process with the coordination of scrum team in agile methodology;
• Responsible for software SIT and UAT processes.

Requirements:

• Experience of financial accounting, business intelligence or data analysis software development projects.
• Familiar with front-end (Winform) and back-end programming, good command of UI/UX design is preferred;
• Solid understanding of data modelling and software design patterns;
• Hands-on experience in SQL, Java, .NET or Python;
• Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; majored in Computer Science, or Math, or Engineering, or related fields;
• Five to ten years of relevant experience in corporate IT departments or reputable IT consulting firms;
• Good communication, documentation and interpersonal skills. Keep abreast of the technical and the organizational development in own professional field;
• Good oral and written English;
• Positive, enthusiastic and self-motivated;
• Good teamwork spirit.
