Responsibilities:

• Data and integration requirements gathering, analysis and clarification
• Design of Data components including Data Models, ETL, MDM and Data storage systems
• Engage and manage vendors to build, integrate and deliver high-quality Data Solutions
• Lead delivery and actively monitor throughout the project delivery life cycle in order to manage the scope, schedule, and cost for IT projects
• Provide development guide and best practice for developers and oversee coding and unit testing
• Data Quality review and check and performing data profiling
• Lead definition of validation rules and exception handling
• Lead Performance Tuning across Data technologies
• Prepare / Review functional specification and define clear direction for development team.
• Functional and non-functional design
• Review and signoff functional and technical specifications prepared by vendors
• Review test scope, test approach, and test strategies
• Lead the vendor & manage defects closing during the SIT and UAT
• Liaise with vendors on non-production and production infrastructure and environments
• Work with vendor and internal teams to complete production implementation
• Lead Implementation & Rollout and manage deployment, verification and warranty
• Mentor new members of the team
• Own and maintain the application domain knowledge for Data applications, drive the team to
• maintain awareness of technology trends to ensure the delivery of best practices.

Requirements:

• Educated to degree level in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science
• Minimum 8 years Data & Integration work experience
• Analytical skills / Ability to evolve in a complex and diverse technical environment
• Fluent in English - both written and spoken;
• Solid understanding of the SDLC, experience in Agile delivery is an advantage
• Experience with Oracle 11g/12c and Informatica ETL technologies
• Experience with real-time Data Integration/Replication/Change Data Capture
• Understanding of Big Data technologies is an advantage
• Solid oral and written communication in English and Cantonese
