Overview 

Open Innovation is a growing trend for corporates, and spreading globally in many industrial sectors. Global Acceleration Academy is initiated by HKSTP to support corporates adopting innovation locally and globally.  

You will be inspiring, conferring and supporting corporate partners on their corporate innovation journey with Global Acceleration Academy or other HKSTP programmes. 

You are responsible for the partnership development with corporates from various industry verticals. You will lead planning and execution of the long-term strategy and roadmap for your assigned verticals/partners.  

You will also serve as an industry vertical expert, supporting other HKSTP teams by driving and initiating projects and events to fulfill the HKSTP’s vision, strategy and target.

Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain partnership with stakeholders (corporates, investors, tech ventures and government departments)
• Develop good understanding of corporate business culture and technology trend
• Translate Industry Needs into detailed requirements, and drive projects responding to the needs
• Manage corporate innovation journey process of partners to achieve preset expectation
• Working with cross-functional stakeholders, design and lead research, collect and analyze feedback from corporates and tech ventures
• Develop positioning strategies, partnership strategies and go-to-market strategies as part of ongoing programme planning and development
• Conduct seminars and product training to partners and tech ventures to ensure readiness of innovation adoption
• Monitor and manage performance of projects
• Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager as appropriate 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in with major Business, Engineering or Communication
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in account management/ innovation & technology promotion/ startup ecosystem management 
• Proven track record of managing project / product throughout its lifecycle and achievement of preset target
• Proven ability to develop partnership strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
• Attention to details, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication, time management and leadership skills
• Good presentation skills and understanding to industry operation and practice, attention to details, great interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized, a good team player and manager able to multi-task and work under pressure and tight schedule
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese required
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower position
