Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead an IT Team to deliver continuous service improvement, problem management, availability/capacity management and infrastructural technical and architectural support.

  • Provide technical thought leadership and oversight of operating systems, servers, software apps, storage, compute, telephony, network, backups, and disaster recovery

  • Collaborate with your peers, your team, and your leadership to develop an innovative roadmap to deliver a sustainable IT infrastructure services

  • Lead and/or participate in IT Infrastructure solutioning including scoping, budget development, product selection, architecture design, functional and non-functional requirements and sourcing for projects and on-going service delivery

  • Lead and/or participate in IT Infrastructure project delivery and ongoing service delivery

  • Develop, track and report KPI's for IT Infrastructure Services that provides transparency around infrastructure delivery, stability, and prioritization.

  • Work closely with service owners, peers, other IT teams and vendors manage and facilitate IT service and process improvements

  • Own and drive the continual improvement plan on improvement of stability, uptime, performance, automation, efficiency and cost reduction for IT systems and processes, addressing problems, delivery issues and future demands

  • Be responsible for capacity/availability planning and performance analysis to achieve the goal of delivering reliable and scalable IT systems to business users

  • Lead and participate in vendor performance reviews for strategic vendors to ensure partners are meeting established SLAs and manage associated remediation plans as necessary

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' IT experience as IT Manager in the infrastructure space
  • Excellent in vendor management, budget, program and project management
  • Excellent skills in Lean, Process and Service Improvement
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written
  • Proven expertise at building the appropriate IT infrastructure for scale and effectiveness (systems, tools, processes, team)
  • Demonstrate forward thinking with modern and innovative approach to IT; good understanding of how IT fits in the big picture of business
  • Hands-on IT architect/delivery experiences in multiple technical competencies and how they relate - network, data center, cloud, operating systems, storage, compute, security
