Job Description
Responsibilities

  • Provide advisory services to foreign and local clients on a wide range of trade and customs related issues such as customs valuation, customs classification, processing trade, credit management and AEO certification, FTA and origin, FTZ, customs audits/investigations, customs IT solution
  • Assist in technical research, interview with client management, report drafting throughout the engagements
  • Assist in communication with trade and customs related PRC government authorities and Chambers
  • Assist in business development activities such as seminars, workshops and presentations

Requirements

  • Degree holder in accounting, taxation, business, economics, law or other related disciplines, preferably holding professional qualification in customs and international trade
  • Minimum three years’ related advisory experience in big 4 accounting firms, international law firms or other consulting firms, or related experience in government authorities, Chambers and global companies
  • Good industrial and customs network would be a plus
  • Experience or background related to customs IT would be a plus
  • Good command of both written and spoken English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A desire to pursue a career in the field of trade and customs
