Responsibilities:

1. Assist in driving the growth of medical device related companies in HKSTP
2. Assist in the formulation and implementation of long and short term cluster strategies
3. Collect market intelligence data and build collaborative relationships with all stakeholders of the Biomedical Technology (BMT) cluster, including but not limited to academia, researchers, and business partners

1. Assist in due diligence analysis and co-ordinate resources to achieve corporate objectives in cluster development as well as cross-clusters collaborations

5. Assist in project management and operation of the Healthcare Device Innovation Hub (HDIH), to support HDIH users on technology application development with related stakeholders
6. Assist in project planning, coordination and organization from planning to implementation stages with minimum supervision
7. Manage procurement and interact with suppliers
8. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors and management

Requirements: -

• Master degree or above in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Bio-informatics, Physics, Biochemistry, or related science & engineering disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operation or development of medical and healthcare devices. Candidates with less experience will be considered for Senior Project Officer position
• Knowledge of medical device testing and other regulatory affairs, IoMT and Sensor technology would be a plus
• Familiar with occupational hazards and standard safety practices
• Strong sense of accountability, customer focus, ability to develop good relationship, highly motivated and results driven
• Good analytical, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Proficient in MS office (Words, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
