The appointee will play a key role in engaging alumni, with a particular focus on the Mainland alumni. He/she will be responsible for establishing and maintaining close ties with alumni groups in the Mainland and cultivating relationships with alumni individuals who have a passion for helping the University on multiple fronts. Through planning and executing various programs, including fundraising initiatives, the appointee will foster alumni commitment, involvement with and in support of the University’s mission. In addition, the appointee will handle other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director (Alumni) of the Office. Working outside normal office hours and outside Hong Kong may be required occasionally.

Applicants should have a recognized bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of work experience. The ideal candidate should be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Putonghua and understanding of the Mainland culture are required. He/she should be creative, independent and able to work under pressure. Solid experience in fundraising, digital marketing and event management will be an advantage. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
