BSI is already an international juggernaut in the world of Standards Development and Audit and now we’re adding consultancy to our armoury too. We work to help our clients, across multiple industries, to unlock growth through innovation, build their organisational resilience and solve their most complex challenges.

Some of the fantastic experience you can expect to gain:

• Deliver consulting projects for clients in Europe, Americas and Asia Pacific regions as required. Some travel expected. Billable client delivery is expected to be approximately 70% of total role time
• Contribute to development of propositions for BSI’s newly created consulting business
• Identify opportunities in the market and support other external marketing initiatives to promote these propositions and capabilities, e.g. representing BSI at events; creating whitepapers & collateral
• Support sales, marketing & other externally facing teams, with prospecting to existing and potential clients

• Contribute to the sale of billable consulting services, including creating proposal content

Preferred Background/Experience:

• Consulting background, including delivering high impact advisory work, analysing data and information, to extract insights and make recommendations
• Experience in one or more of the following sectors and topics is advantageous but not essential: Built Environment, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Public Sector, Governance, Risk and Sustainability 
• Excellent networker with strong communication skills with experience of building and sustaining relationships
• Evidence of helping sell consulting opportunities, including direct involvement in sales meetings
• Experience of working across a range of international markets and with culturally diverse client groups, preferably both in the public and commercial sector
• Degree or equivalent in Business, Economics or other area relevant to role. The ability to demonstrate analytical thinking is far more important than the nature of any qualifications
