POSITION SUMMARY

The basic function of the Gasification Maintenance Manager is to provide necessary leadership and technical support, to facilitate, direct, and coordinate the development, performance, definition and improvement of the maintenance department systems and help establish a Capable, Continuously Improving, Integrated high quality Maintenance work force with focus on improving plant equipment integrity and reliability at the lowest sustainable cost in Air Products Hohhot Gasification Island..

The Gasification Maintenance Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day to day maintenance management of the associated facilities. The Maintenance Manager is also responsible for the performance and development of the maintenance staff.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.Management of all maintenance activities within the Gasification area. Become the SPOC for Maintenance needs & services.

2. Prepare and administer the Annual Maintenance routine and Major Maintenance budgets for the areas of responsibility.

3. Actively participate in the safety programs, promote and enforce safety rules and good housekeeping methods.

4. Maximizes efficiency, productivity and capability of the maintenance work force in the area of responsibility.

5. Identifies department systematic opportunities for improvements and assists employees in subsequent improvement efforts

6. Direct and administrate the Maintenance Resources to meet and exceed all safety, health and environmental regulations, and Corporate Group requirements.

7. Ensure the development of sound preventative/predictive/and integrity maintenance programs that reduces unplanned shutdowns and ultimately enhances overall Plants profitability and product quality.

Implement best practices, change management, and standardization of maintenance systems and work processes across the Gasification Facility.

8.Periodically evaluate program's effectiveness and modify accordingly to insure optimum reliability/cost benefits are maintained.

Promote an atmosphere of team spirit through good example, open communication, good listening, and timely problem resolutions.

9. Participate in short and long range planning and execution of essential programs, turnarounds, and processes. Participate in the development and implementation of strategic planning about Gasification Facility.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Job Incumbent is expected to have a Chemical mechanical engineering and/or control &Instrument engineering, College Degree and above.

2. With minimum 8+ years’ experience in operating plant with Pulverized Coal Gasification operation/maintenance function. 4 years + Pulverized Coal Gasification Maintenance Management experiences, current Shell Gasification Maintenance Manager position will be in priority (2 sets and above).

3. Strong leadership, working knowledge and hands on experience.

6. Average Written/Spoken English, Proficent Chinese
