Job description of Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Expert technical knowledge in all SQL Server database concerns;
• Research database errors and do typical database technical work like cleanups, solve space problem, load/extract data and create schemas/users etc.
• Read and interpret explains plans as well as be a specialist for performance analysis, i.e. work with db hints, identify missing indices or complex joins;
• Expert with the SQL language, writing scripts to automate procedures for generic processes;
• Provide international support in case of database problem (configuration, all kind of db issues) Help Developers to design the data model and create the required DB objects
• Programming store procedures and SSIS(DTS)
• Use C# and Power Shell to develop database applications.
• Help US DBA to upgrade or migrate application databases.

Skill and knowledge needed:

• Computer Science, Bachelor or higher degree;
• Professional experience for at least 3-5 years as database administrator and developer as well as programmer;
• Triggers, Stored Procedure, Views development and optimization skills;
• C#, Power Shell
• Data Warehouse (Kimball Dimensional Model), SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
• Ability to push a project forward within a complex international environment;
• Extended self-dependency and work efficiency;
• Cultural awareness respectively working experience in an international project environment;
• Good communication and presentation skills;

任职要求

1. 本科及以上学历

2. 至少三年以上数据库开发管理经验

3. 深入理解数据库原理、数据库引擎、内存、锁机制

4. 熟悉SQL数据库设计、调优和查错，精通存储过程编写

5. 熟悉数据库备份恢复机制

6. 熟悉SQL Server Integration Service，对数据进行抽取分析及加载

7. 熟悉数据仓库构建，对SQL Server Analysis Service有一定了解

8. 了解SQL Server Reporting Service数据库报表开发及优化

9. 具备一定的C#开发能力，了解Power Shell脚本语言

10. 具备较强的沟通协作能力，工作积极主动，责任心强，能独立完成DBA工作

11. 较强的英语读写能力，基本口语沟通能力
