The role encompasses:
1. Data governance: partnership with client to ensure smooth development of 1st party DMP with proper working process. Closely work with legal to keep update with data legality trend, publishers’ new privacy terms and conditions. Make sure all data collection under proper governance.
2. Data centralization and automation: lead a team to develop different automation tools to centrally manage all data assets, such as tracking, paid EC performance. Design and implement analytics dashboards that provide clients and internal teams visibility and insights.
3. Measurement and verification: lead the discussion with advanced tracking vendors, constantly upgrade tracking functions to timely ensure client’s traffic quality, keep client from ad-fraud and unsafe exposure. Proactively participate into industry association like MMA and push further industry transparency
4. Design matrix that matter for new type of campaigns: for new types of campaigns, design evaluation KPIs with feasible tracking solutions
5. Mar tech stack expert: closely communicate with different business teams to understand their daily challenges. Accordingly explore and evaluate different tech vendors, such as DMP, DSP, Serving and etc., identify opportunities to apply into daily operations.
6. Relationship management: manage internal stakeholders, clients and vendors’ relationships
7. Training and consulting: be the go-to person for data, measurement and mar tech related questions. Organize regular training sessions for agency to improve team digital capability
8. Team coaching: inspire and coach team members, build team capabilities on digital, mar tech, automation and analytics
