Mission & Main Tasks:

• Monitoring and managing delivery supply chains from Asia to Europe
• Documentation and reporting
• Definition of oversea packing
• Logistic costs calculation

Job Duties:

• Monitoring of delivery schedules by Asian suppliers as well as the parts flow through the supply chain to Europe
• Communication hub between European plants and Asian suppliers
• Identification of bottlenecks and coordination of measures to secure the material flow to the destination plants
• Coordination of deliveries during ramp-up or run-out phases
• Training suppliers in web-based corporate business software (e.g. WEB EDI) and logistics processes of the VW Group
• Definition of one-way oversea packing for export parts to ensure parts protection, cost efficiency and compatibility to the AUDI Production System (APS)
• Development of packing concepts together with suppliers and service providers
• Optimization of existing and new packing concepts, transportation processes, software solutions and logistics service providers

Qualifications:

Education:

• Degree of logistics, business economics, business engineering or comparable degree

Professional skills:

• Experience in use of MRP-systems
• Experience with logistic processes in the automotive industry, especially processing oversea-shippings
• At least 2 years of work-experience
• Advanced skills in MS office
