    Description of position:

    In assist of managing traffic flow of merchandise from confirming vessel booking, delivery schedules, customs clearance, documentation, freight calculation, invoice payments, to shipment closing

    Facilitate smooth operation of all e-commerce businesses, including customer care, credits/ returns, invoicing, sale audit, logistics and the running of fulfillment center. Regular audit and onsite visit at 3PL fulfillment center are required.

    This will require staying up-to-date on changing regulations from import restrictions, customs clearance procedures, labeling requirements for both general trade and eComm cross border trade.


    Main tasks and responsibilities:

    • Create shipments for international inbound freight, landing cost calculation.
    • Communicate with vendors, Buyers, brokers, carrier, forwarders, and truckers on a daily-basis via email, telephone or in person in order to facilitate the freight.
    • Review shipment documentation (BOL/Export Verification/Quarantine Certificates/Invoice/etc)
    • Assists in maintains smooth flow of all EC operation
    • Communicate with ecommerce stakeholders, including Tmall, Tmall Operator, Costco team, and fulfillment center and vendors to relate and gather information and to resolve issues
    • Inventory audit for general trade and ecommerce business.
    • Check merchandise receiving discrepancies and take corrective action.
    • Arrange Export, Return, Re-consign shipments when necessary.
    • Review billings from service providers
    • Assist with internal document and paper works.
    • Report issues to supervisor once encountered.
    • Assists in other area of the department and in other departments as necessary.

    Qualifications:

  • Education/Training: A college degree is required.
  • Experience: International Trade and ecommerce operation experience preferred.
  • Knowledge/Skills required:
    • Basic knowledges of relevant laws and regulations.
    • Computer skills: Windows OS and applications: Word, Excel, and Power Point skills.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills (both English & Chinese).
