Job Description

Responsibilities:

Follow up licensees on information feedback, royalty report, payment, etc.

  • Updating the licensees list
  • Business analysis and report
  • W/S performance trace & analysis (vs. forecast, last month & same period of last year)

  • Channel analysis (business model analysis, breakdown of department store & hyper, own corners & franchisor)

  • Property analysis (by gender, age segmentation & sub-category)

  • AR (on weekly basis) : (it’s not limited to)
  • Timely alert managers any payment outstanding more than 60 days and coordinate action plan with Finance team (remind letter, demand letter, legal letter etc.), need to chase & follow up until payment received

  • Communicating with licensees when it is required

  • Internal communication with finance team as well as with staffs in other office.

  • Chasing royalty report
  • Updating wholesale forecasting when report is received.

  • Follow up calls with licensees when the report due is past.

  • Vendor Compliance issues – following up with licensees when they did not respond to our Compliance issues.

Legal material follow up

  • Collect information for deal sheet package and route for internal approval
  • Keep tracking contract process and ensure timely delivery of the contracts in conjunction with Legal
  • Prepare Trademark registration and recordal request list for Mattel and Hit brands to Legal based on the categories need
  • Chinese authorization letter preparation
  • Handle Licensee's legal inquiry, like authorization letter, intention letter, and trademark certificate. etc
  • Report counterfeit issues to Investigation team and Legal team and follow up on action plans

Licensees information consolidation

  • Retail update
  • E.g.:Monthly key licensee corner list update by city

  • E.g.:Monthly key licensee corner opening plan for the coming 3-month & 1year

  • Send out style guide to licensees
  • Product approval coordination
  • Follow up licensee report of counterfeit product with legal department & licensee

Team meeting information consolidation

  • Consolidate category manager information of retail marketing, promotions, and events success
  • Consolidate weekly staff meeting information

Industry information collection

  • Key Industry trend clipping from internet (on quarterly basis)
  • Monitor relative industries’ trends, rules, performance; retail channel market conditions; collection of market/consumer/retail trend and information analysis

Make appointments and arrange travel schedule




REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE


1. Education

  • University graduate, experience in sales /retail / brand management from FMCG, Branded or fashion-related business area with multinational company

2. 2-4 years working experience in related industry at merchandising, marketing or sales related undertakings.


3. Personal Attributes

  • Good market & product knowledge in China local business area.

  • Experience in sales and marketing, preferable working with sourcing company, marketing company, familiar with modern trade module.

  • Intelligent, self-directed, self-starter, good ability to work within a team.

  • Good analytical skill and understanding of business and financial concepts.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Committed to excellence.

4. Other requisites, languages

  • Fluent English and local language.

  • Hands on experience on PC software applications (e.g. Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
