An excellent opportunity to join the statutory body which regulates and promotes the development of the securities and futures markets in Hong Kong. This legal executive role involves providing a range of support to lawyers in the Commission’s Legal Services Division across a wide variety of litigation and advisory work. The key focus will be to conduct legal research and draft research notes, and to provide substantive assistance to prepare cases for court and tribunal hearings including some drafting work.

You must have: excellent legal research and drafting skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise research notes, correspondence and simple court documents; good attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedule; an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and good computer skills in Word, Excel, Acrobat and Powerpoint. You must have a good law degree. Relevant work experience in a law firm and experience in court-related work including knowledge of applicable rules and procedures in civil and criminal proceedings would be an advantage.
