The ideal candidate will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders by providing clarification on legal aspects related to new digital products and services, in particular with regard to Blockchain and FinTech.
The responsibilities for this role will include:
• Provide strategic day-to-day legal advice and support UBS in its digital transformation journey
• Interpret and translate legal requirements effectively to the business
• Collaborate with colleagues within UBS and external stakeholders in Switzerland by providing strategic advice on the design, implementation and governance of such new innovative solutions, considering in particular Financial Market Regulation, Competition law, Data Protection and Contract law
• Be involved in all stages of product lifecycle including new product approvals
• Stay up to date with relevant regulatory developments to make sure we meet all obligations to our customers and regulators
