The appointee will be taking up English language teaching duties at the undergraduate level, performing setting and marking of student assignments, refining existing English modules and developing new modules for various academic programmes. The appointee will also be expected to conduct non-credit bearing workshops in further enhancing students’ language proficiency.
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or higher academic qualifications in English studies or related disciplines, with teaching experience at the tertiary level. They are expected to be self-motivated, demonstrate teamwork and exhibit leadership. Preference will be given to candidates who have expertise in developing ESP courses relevant to disciplines at HSUHK, or who can teach modules in linguistics and literature at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The appointee is expected to assume duty in January 2021. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
