Job Posting Details

The appointee is required to teach a range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Chinese Communication for Putonghua/Cantonese speakers, or Cantonese for non-native speakers of the language. Applications are particularly welcome from teachers with expertise in teaching advanced learners with a range of modes including digital education.

Applicants should have a first degree and a master’s degree in Chinese language, applied linguistics or language education and preferably a recognized language teaching qualification. Experience in teaching Chinese language/communication at tertiary/senior secondary level is required. (Duration: October 2020 – May 2021)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including medical benefits and paid leave will be provided where applicable.
