• Becomeproficient in effectively delivering the Disney English interactive contentincluding associated technology.
• Prepare,prior to the start of each class, and be able to effectively use lessons,realia, print materials and supplemental materials.
• Followprepared content and lesson plans using appropriate methodology anddevelopmentally appropriate teaching practices to enhance each lesson.
• Deliverup to 25 hours per week of ongoing, regularly scheduled classes.
• Continuouslyassess and find ways to improve the performance of learners as they advancethrough his/her lessons.
• Prepareand assist with educationally valuable Clubhouse Activities before classes.
• Deliverboth formal and informal assessments and progress reports throughout theprogram and maintain learner records.
• Workwith Foreign Trainers to ensure classes are run efficiently and start and endas scheduled.
• Leadremedial classes for low scoring learners and customize the lesson in order tosupport their learning needs.
• Maintainhigh quality of academic delivery in his/her own classes ensuring consistentlyhigh standards.
• Accuratelyplace learners in the Disney English program by delivering placementassessments in conjunction with a Foreign Trainer or Language Learning Director.
• Checkeach learner’s homework during class time each week and make corrections asneeded.
• Providecoverage for classes in times of trainer sickness or absence.
• Attendweekly meetings with the LLD to communicate all pertinent student and classroommanagement issues.
• Provideexcellent classroom management, in terms of child care and dealing withemergencies and/or unforeseen circumstances that require immediate attention.

Learning Partners are responsible for the ParentCare program and play a critical role in the engagement with our parents toimprove their child’s experience, learning progress and overall satisfaction.

• Establishand maintain Parent Care communication regarding learner’s progress by means ofthe Trainer/Parent Portal and ongoing communication during performances, phonecalls, Parent-Trainer Conferences and Unit Report Cards.
• Placephone calls to parents or face-to-face communication a minimum of twice perterm for each learner in order to update parents on their child’s learningprogress, communicate center information and updates, answer parents questionsand handle concerns.
• Keepdiligent records of all parent communication in the Parent Care binder,including learner’s attendance, soft skill development, and general progressnotes to discuss with parents.
• Responsiblefor regularly updating parent/trainer connection website with information onlearner’s weekly attendance, progress, assessment results, photos and audiorecordings.
• Scheduleall Parent-Trainer Conferences, Make Up Classes and Remedial Classes. Provideboth oral and written translation as needed during class and throughout thecenter.

• Understandthe center business objectives.
• Participatein or deliver a variety of English Language Learning events as scheduled by theLLD or ACM, including but not limited to Demos, Referral Events, Center Events,Make Up Classes, Parent Seminars and New Parent Orientation Meetings.
• Regularlyattend and participate in staff meetings and take part in professionaldevelopment sessions.
