Job Purpose
Guarantee the development, implementation and evaluation of the Regional L&D strategies and projects
Maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external) to pursue L&D outcomes, working collaboratively with the HR Director, China, Regional HR Director, Asia Pacific and the Global Learning & Development HR Manager/Team
Ensure high quality service and support to internal clients, in compliance with the Company standards as well as with the Brand Image
Main Duties & Responsibilities
According to the HQ guidelines:
Partner with the Global L&D Dept based in Milan to assess current learning and development regional needs through, but not limited to surveys, interviews, office and store visits
Evaluate both organizational and individual learning and development needs within the assigned geographical areas
Propose and prepare Regional L&D programs, activities and material
Design solutions, both in-house and with expert third parties, which includes a blended approach to learning (coaching, classroom training, 1:1 sessions, action learning, etc.)
Plan, manage, and coordinate external providers to deliver both training and development plans
Assist in designing and delivering ongoing L&D programs: identify participants and communicate with them and their managers, set up and monitor registrations, review course materials to ensure relevant updates, deliver instruction and/or coordinate with other presenters, prepare and execute follow-up evaluations
Create training schedules and coordinate logistics
Design and create training manuals, online learning modules, and course materials
Develop modules of behavioral trainings and apply them though classroom or online format
Be responsible for developing and delivering corporate training content, including Leadership Development Programs
Deliver trainings, inductions, and other developmental activities according to the defined approach and methodologies
Evaluate the effectiveness of Regional L&D programs: assimilate results, report on key performance indicators (KPI), develop and implement measures to address identified gaps and enhance the programs
Analyze data and elaborate proposals as input to new projects
Track budgets and monitor costs
Coordinate and monitor different stages of the Annual Performance Assessment Program
Conduct induction program for new employees
Be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, verifying and managing training information as well as KPIs
Support delivery of our employee development strategy for all levels of the business
Work effectively with the logistics of L&D initiatives
Work effectively with corporate events, participating in planning and execution
Maintain a good relationship with internal and external clients, as well as conduct market research on new technologies and methodologies practiced
Job Qualifications & Specifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Psychology, Pedagogy or related area
A minimum of 4 years of organizational training or education experience delivering/facilitating group training programs
Experience in managing organizational training projects, working with stakeholders at both leadership and staff levels
Can create and continuously improve learning content using an array of creative approaches that inspire and engage learners to drive operational excellence and career/workforce progression
Be self-driven and have the capability and confidence to interface effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders in accordance with the HQ L&D guidelines
Required experience and resourcefulness to provide face-to-face soft skills/behavioral training in the classroom or 1:1 coaching sessions
Experience with internal and external events, participating in planning and execution
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Advanced or Fluent English (Requirement)
Attention to detail and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite – Word, Power Point, Excel
With strong business acumen, excellent influencing skill, strategic thinking to deliver complex learning programs and strategy to completion
Willingness to travel
Important Qualities
Analytical skills. Evaluate training programs, methods and materials, and choose those that best fit each situation
Instructional skills. Design and deliver simple training programs to employees using a variety of teaching techniques
Interpersonal skills. Need strong interpersonal skills because delivering training programs requires collaborating with consultants, colleagues, trainees, and subject-matter experts
Speaking skills. Speaking skills are essential for L&D Specialist because they often give presentations. Specialists must communicate information clearly and facilitate learning by diverse audiences
