Job Description

The role will be reporting Group Director of Marketing Operations and responsible for coordinating overall medial planning across the Group, working closely with Group Media Agency on media buying plans, and on-going analysis to maximise efficiency and effectiveness behind Company’s media investments.

The Job

  • Work closely with the Director to formulate the media strategy and transform into implementation plan
  • Manage and monitor day to day media activities and trafficking through different media channels and platforms including briefing agents on the planning and execution
  • Analyse, propose and recommend creative media initiatives by integrating research data, comprehensive market analysis and plan
  • Play an expertise role to deliver and manage end-to-end process and whole cycle of media plan are within budget while ensuring the impact and ROI of media investment are achieved
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather all materials and resources for supporting all media planning projects and implementation across multiple banners within the Group
  • Develop the media planning and buying tools, system, process and methodology for tracking, evaluating and anaylsing consumer insights and outcome impact in order to keep Senior Management updated for the latest market dynamics
  • Oversee and monitor the performance of third parties and media agents by measuring their KPI, quality and outcome to ensure the marketing programs and campaigns are delivered efficiently and effectively

The person

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media and Advertising or related discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Marketing Operations and Brand Management from Consumer Packaged Goods industry, experience in Media Agent also considered.
  • Solid experience in media planning / buying; with regional media planning experience is highly preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of market practice, process, system and tools of media buying in CPG industry
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate and proactive on taking initiatives in media and campaign implementation with demonstrated ability in planning and negotiation
  • Able to manage multi-task in fact-paced environment and build close relationship with stakeholders across the company
