Circ is looking for a Lead Vehicle Designer who drives development and implementation of all vehicle design projects in China to ensure excellent client centric and an outstanding end-to-end customer experience.

Close collaboration with the CEO China, Head of Vehicle Engineering China and the HQ executive team in Berlin guarantees an exciting participation on global projects. This position assumes a broad range of tasks including staffing, process development, production planning and quality assurance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Undertake and lead vehicle design as part of a multi-national project

Instill client centric and market reflecting product needs into vehicle design

Create compelling and appropriate design proposals for various concept and production vehicle programs via skilled sketching ability, renderings

Generate creative concepts with suppliers for complete vehicle

Prepare status reporting, metrics and other documentation and present the wider project team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor and above degree with major in industrial or automotive design
• 5+ years’experience in automotive/mobility engineering; the design and analysis of transportation systems
• Experience and portfolio of designs of known automotive products or concepts
• Knowledge on CAD systems, like NX, AutoCAD, Inventor
• Appreciation of prototyping & production manufacturing methods
• Self-motivated with strong customer focus
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form in English and in Chinese and to interface with in a wide range of organizations both internally and externally
