As a Lead Supplier Quality Engineering Specs, you will be responsible for handling material quality complaints, performing failure modes analysis of components, and following up with component manufacturers to ensure the right corrective actions will be effectively implemented, for Electrification Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Supplier Quality Engineering Manager, you will be supporting LPC and CM on supplier quality issues at the strategic level / Quality contract set up with the supplier.

Your responsibilities

• Ensuring supplier quality management, resolving the quality issue in time. Working on Supplier Quality Continual Improvement, and participating in the Sourcing Decisions
• Performing Supplier QMS/QPA/QSA/EHS/OHSAS/Rohs-REACH-WEEE/Delivery/Info Security Audit developed 2nd source to meet cost reduction requirements
• Tracking, CA / PA follow up & Supplier Quality Performance evaluation system set up
• Handling material quality complaints, performing failure modes analysis of components, and following up with component manufacturers to ensure the right corrective actions will be effectively implemented
• Performing surveys and assessing the capability and the quality risk of the suppliers. Periodic quality systems audit of suppliers to ensure that supplier quality system meets LP requirement
• Supporting LPC and CM on supplier quality issues at strategic level / Quality contract set up with supplier
• Managing PCN/ECN with supplier

Your background

• 5 to 8 years of experience with Supplier Quality Control, familiar with quality standards (ISO9000, TL9000, ISO14000, etc)
• Familiar with quality tools (8D, FMEA, CPK, etc
• Familiar with IPC standard and other PCBA manufacture process
• Previous Product Quality Assurance & Quality Systems experience
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Science/ Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge and experience in the quality control, reliability, manufacturing capability auditing, RoHS, etc.
• Good oral and written skills in English and Mandarin
