Job Description
As part of BNY Mellon OMNI Digital Services, the Solution Design and Delivery practice works with clients to architect and deliver BNY Mellon technology. The group’s extensive experience helps clients bring to life their technology operations, as well as gain the most value from their ongoing investments in BNY Mellon Asset Servicing and Digital capabilities. Working as an extension of the client’s organization, we bring a hands-on agile program management approach throughout all phases of the financial technology delivery process, including solutions design, functional planning, onboarding, implementation and optimization. The practice experts use their decades of significant domain expertise to reliably guide clients through the technology transformation process and enable them to focus on core business objectives. Plans, budgets, staffs and manages multiple projects and teams. Lead consultant responsibilities have a direct impact on company growth and business development. Leads should have a firm understanding of subject matter and can Interpret and define complex business problems in order to design technical solutions. Maintains solid understanding of implementation methodologies. Plans and manages moderate-sized or multiple small-sized projects and client relationships to achieve milestones, reporting standards, scope management and budgetary requirements. Works with internal accounting operations to ensure revenue realization. Communicates risks, issues, and status of resolution to senior management. Motivates staff and creates team cohesion. Participates in the ongoing recruiting process. Excellent oral and written communication skills including writing proposals, project plans, specifications, status reports, etc. Solid client liaison skills. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or CFA preferred but not required. Demonstrated track record of contributing successfully to the delivery of moderate-sized projects. Excellent understanding of technology and the full suite of the company's technologies. Qualifications Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 5-7 years of total work experience. Securities, financial products and/or the finance industry experience preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
