As a Lead Center Manager- CN BIW, you will be responsible for developing and managing the operation of Local Leadcenter Body-in-White with responsibility over strategic business development and performance, in Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Local Product Group Manager, you will be responsible for the profit center results (Order Intakes, Revenues, Cash Flow, EBIT, etc.) delivery as per targets, and long term growth.

Your responsibilities

  • Elaborating LC business strategy and guiding the implementation of long-term and short-term business plans/programs within the broad framework of BU/LD/LBU/LC strategy to achieve approved objectives
  • Suggesting price strategy to keep competitiveness, win more order with good margin and maintaining a good market share
  • Supporting and developing the BIW products
  • Being part of the local project success by sourcing and offering products support
  • Setting up Local lead center organization, procedures, targets, plans, and ensuring the execution to meet the objective of maximizing growth and profitability
  • Directing the development of long-term business forecasts regarding volume, market share, financial requirements, human resources needs, organizational plans, etc to ensure the business development and continuity
  • Ensuring the daily operations are following ABB’s governance and compliances rules
  • Guiding and ensuring QDC (quality, delivery and cost) targets are met

Your background

  • 10 years of Robotics and Bodyshop process knowledge with 5 years’ experience in operation management of System Business with long-term projects or more than 3-5 years of experiences in ABB with good understanding of the culture and business processes
  • Knowledge of project management and risk management with international business experience
  • Sound technical knowledge in Robotics and Bodyshop process & productions
  • A Master degree in Automation and Mechanical Engineering, and/or Business Operations
  • Effective analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to provide effective management leadership. Developing and motivating highly diversified employee team
  • Must be result orientated with high degree of desire to achieve objectives
