Job Description
Oversee and/or perform the business as usual tasks to ensure investment performance data meets the standards for accuracy and timeliness. Monitor data quality and data availability issues, escalating concerns to internal/external teams. Ensure technical and workflow issues are identified, researched, resolved, and communicated in a timely manner. Provide production support as related to performance data. Utilizes investment performance subject matter expertise to improve current processes and meet increasing/changing data needs. Identifies, recommends and implements process and technology improvements to generate efficiencies, reduce operational risk, and increase levels of client satisfaction through faster delivery and higher accuracy. Establishes and maintains metrics related to the timing and accuracy of performance data. Builds strong relationships with internal and external partners, enhancing their business activities through flexible and responsive customer service. Proactively communicates with stakeholders, providing clear and timely status updates during daily and monthly production cycles. 5 to 7 years of overall professional work experience. Minimum 4 years of investment industry and 2 year of performance measurement experience. 1+ years’ experience calculating, analyzing and interpreting performance results. Hands-on experience in performance operations is preferred. Identification of performance errors and management of issue resolution. Collaboration with upstream sources (e.g. accounting, index vendors) to identify and remediate issues. Attention to detail and accuracy. Daily and monthly performance calculation experience. Familiarity with Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS). Contribution to return, risk / return statistics. Benchmark comparison, custom benchmarks. Performance attribution. Strong MS Excel, SQL skills (Oracle preferred) are required. Responsible for understanding clients’ overall business model and purpose. Responsible for client satisfaction and delivery of the overall service model. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. Exhibited skills in problem identification and problem resolution.
