The Transaction Svs Sr Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for the opening/closing of cash accounts, movement of funds, intra-day funds management and compliance related to monetary transactions in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team.The overall objective of this role is to perform transactions and provide high volume cash management services.
Responsibilities:
- Process regular, restricted and legal transfers, client/Firm payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows and wholesale card activity
- Provide instruction receipts and authentication, entry instructions and verification, processing and recording, and reporting and reconciliation
- Oversee cash management operations, such as cash handling, check processing, return items and lock-box operations
- Lead projects and manage the resolution of complex and varied issues
- Serve as a subject matter expert in business, planning and analysis as well as an analytical and/or procedural expert representing a unit or team on cross function process or project deliverables
- Apply and analyze operational processes and best practices to recommend customized business solutions to internal clients
- Oversee resource management and allocation of work and advise or coach new or lower level personnel
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a related role
- Senior to advanced level experience in a related role
- Proven record of leading projects and executing strategies
- Proven work organization / privatization skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
